Privacy Policy

Shopling ("we," "us") helps Etsy sellers optimize their own listings. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. The short version: the free score runs in your browser, we only access your own Etsy shop with your permission, and we never sell your data.

1. What we collect

• Free Visibility Score: when you paste a listing into the free score tool, the analysis runs entirely in your browser. We do not send, store, or log what you paste.
• Account information: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. If you sign in with email, we receive that email.
• The Chrome add-on: our optional browser add-on runs on your own Etsy listing pages. It reads the listing you have open so it can suggest a better title, tags, and description, and it works entirely on your device. It does not log into your Etsy account, it sends your listing data nowhere, and we never receive or store it.
• Usage and billing: if you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card; we receive your subscription status, not your card number. We keep basic records of features you use to operate and improve the service.

2. What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or your shop data with third parties for their marketing.
• We do not access other sellers' private data on your behalf.
• We do not store the contents of the free score tool.

3. How we use your data

Only to provide and improve the service: to generate optimized titles, tags, and descriptions for your listings, to show your score over time, to save your history if you are a paid user, and to contact you about your account.

4. Etsy data specifically

Shopling does not connect to your Etsy account and does not use the Etsy API. The Chrome add-on works locally in your browser on the pages you already have open, as you. Your listing data stays on your device. We are an independent tool and are not affiliated with Etsy, Inc.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run Shopling: Google for login, Stripe for payments, and our hosting provider. Each only receives what they need to perform their function.

6. Your choices and rights

• Remove the Chrome add-on or sign out at any time.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
• Cancel your subscription at any time; you keep access until the end of the paid period.

7. Cookies

We use a single secure cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify signed-in users.
